Kim and Josh were married at Shades of Green in Orlando on a beautiful fall day. I have always said that in Orlando, October is one of the best months to get married and with good reason. The weather made for a perfect setting for an outdoor wedding in the courtyard at Shades of Green.
Kim and her attendants were getting their hair and makeup when we arrived. From the moment we got there, we felt so welcome. The whole bridal party were awesome and they smiled for photos from the minute we got there until after the last dance.
The ceremony was held at the Garden Gazebo in the courtyard of Shades of Green. The Magnolia Ballroom hosted the reception where Diverse DJ of Orlando entertained the guests with fantastic music.
Since Kim and Josh had first met on Halloween, they decided to have their wedding on Halloween. For the rehearsal dinner, everyone came dressed in Halloween costumes.
Kim came up with a great way to have a candy bar at their wedding. Since the wedding was on Halloween, they went with Halloween candy and themed the candy bar to match the day.
Shades of Green
Shades of Green is a gorgeous resort tucked away at Walt Disney World right next to The Magic Kingdom. Not many people know about the resort, as it is an official Armed Forces Recreation Center – open only to US Military members and their families. The location is still available for weddings and the two PGA courses were a great location to go for photos after the ceremony.
