I love the quaint charm of Winter Garden and it’s one of my favorite locations to shoot in central Florida. When I was talking to Stefanie and Vincent about locations to do their session, I was very happy that we all agreed to Winter Garden.

We met at Plant Street and walked around all of the old storefronts and then headed to Lake Apopka for a gorgeous sunset. I had a great time getting to know them, and I’m very excited about their Orlando wedding, which we will be photographing later this fall at The Veranda in Thornton Park.

I always like to hear the stories about how couples get engaged. As Stefanie was getting ready to go to a food and wine festival in Baldwin Park, Vincent asked her (with a ring in his hand), “Would it be okay if I introduce you as my fiance tonight?” Needless to say, he’ll soon be introducing Stefanie as his wife.

Please enjoy some of the photos from the day and check back later to see photos from their wedding!

Last month, I posted photos from Miranda and Jeff’s wonderful wedding at Lakeside Hall in Orlando. Several weeks later we met the couple again in Winter Garden to have a “Rock the Dress” session. To see photos from their Orlando Wedding, please Click Here.

Jeff is a firefighter with the Winter Garden Fire Department. Initially when Miranda said she wanted to do a rock the dress session, my response was, “Can we get the truck?” When I arrived at the fire station, I was excited to use the fire truck as a background for some of the initial photos. Jeff put on his gear for some of the photos as well.

Jeff changed out of his firefighter gear, and we picked up Abby for some more photos. Abby is a black labrador retriever who loves people and will lick you to death if you let her. We headed to Chapin Station in Winter Garden to take a few photos with their lab.

We ended the day with a beautiful sunset over Lake Apopka followed by some delicious pizza at Winter Garden Pizza Company.

We had a great time and it was so much fun doing this rock the dress session with these two.

I hope you enjoy these pictures!

The past few weeks have been hectic, but fun! I’ve been doing many different photo sessions around Orlando. Everyone is doing family photos as gifts or Christmas cards. It may sound silly, but I always get excited when I see one of my photos in a client’s holiday card.

I’ve been all around town to do these photos. I did a family photo session this past weekend at Cypress Grove Park. Before that, I had a couples portrait session in Winter Garden along the West Orange Trail.

I also did several portrait sessions this year at Walt Disney World. I had two different family portrait sessions at Disney’s Boardwalk resort. I also did a portrait session at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Osborne Spectacle of Lights made for an amazing backdrop for some great images!

I also had a home portrait session with my two dogs. Every year, our Christmas cards feature them, and it’s an annual challenge to top the previous year’s card. (I’ll be posting those pictures later).

I’ve attached a collage of some of my recent photos. I hope you enjoy them!
