Lisa and John – A Cocoa, Florida Engagement Session

I recently photographed the engagement session of Lisa and John in Cooca, Florida. Near the historic Cocoa Village is a collection of small parks — Riverside Park and Lee Wenner Park.

John and Lisa had a fun picnic themed engagement photo complete with homemade cupcakes, sandwiches, and wine. They’ll be getting married next fall in Jacksonville, Florida.

Tiffany and Josh – A Jacksonville, Florida Wedding

Tiffany and Josh were married a few weeks ago in Jacksonville Beach. The bride got ready at the beautiful Casa Marina – one of Jacksonville’s Historic Hotels dating back to 1925.

The wedding took place at nearby Howell Park – tucked between lush trees and a small pond and not a drop of Florida rain in sight! The reception followed at Casa Marina’s Penthouse Lounge, where guests mingled and shared the couple’s special day.

Gray Photography – Jacksonville Workshop

I had the pleasure to travel up to Jacksonville Beach yesterday to spend the day participating in a photography workshop taught by Zach and Jody Gray from Gray Photography based out of Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve always known these two were great photographers. But, I learned they are also great instructors, and just overall nice and genuine people. The class was a blast, and if these two ever come through to your city, I highly recommend attending one of their workshops.

It was great to meet many other great wedding and portrait photographers from throughout the country. Although there were many photographers from Florida (Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Sarasota), other photographers came from as far away as North Carolina and Minnesota. Sadly, for us, it wasn’t much warmer in Jacksonville than it was in Minnesota.
